I suggest anyone who is interested in buying one of these dolls check out Den Of Angels before purchasing. It's also a good resource for those who are just interested.

The MOST Frequently Asked Questions

    • What are these things called and what are they? They are called Ball-Jointed Dolls (BJD) or Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls (ABJD), They're high quality resin dolls strung with elastic. They can hold various poses including free standing due to the way they are built. They are highly customizable in just about everything; they use wigs which can be switched out easily, their heads open to change eyes, even the paint on their face can be removed and repainted with general ease. Quite a few companies even have "option parts" like extra hands, feet, heads (sleeping/dreaming), and even large body parts like busts. Or if you feel really ambitious, you can sand and carve away to change them how you'd like. For example I've heavily sanded/carved Aden's face and I have modified parts of Sourio's old body to improve posing. • What dolls do you own/Where did you get your dolls? My dolls are Aden who is a Delf JuriB 07 girl heavily modded, Shox who is a Delf If, both from Luts, Sourio who is a Lance from Crobidoll, Kaine is a Arien from Leekeworld, Cas is a Lu-na from Ariadoll who's site no longer exists, and Hiro is a Vezeto from Dollclans. • How much are they? These dolls can range from slightly under $100 to thousands. • They're expensive. Why spend so much on a doll? Simply because I can. I enjoy the full range of things I can do with them from sewing, painting, photography and more. There's also quality and value in these dolls, they're not cheap barbies that need to be kept in their boxes untouched and perfect to retain their value. They're very durable and strong and can handle quite a beating. • Are you selling them/Can I have them? Unless I say other wise, no. • Can I draw __________? Go right ahead, Just tell me so I can fav it! • Can I use your photos for avatars/signatures/wallpapers/etc.? Short answer: No. • OMG YOUR DOLL LOOKS JUST LIKE MY CHARACTER-- No. They look like mine. Please don't use my dolls to represent your/or any other characters.
